Yes we managed to rig up a Mums go for a little adventure then dads. About 1.5 hours out and back to the high point not going more then a hike. The whole 14k loop from the carpark looks cool - certainly a lot of
Spurs and ridges staring back at you that ignite the imagination. Will be back for sure
Rangiwahia is one of my favourite huts. I’ve only been up there with the kids so haven’t had the chance to explore further but it looks stunning.
