Further to the Auckland vs Wellington debate, I thought I would add a Christchurch perspective. I found a Wellington trail on the Wild Things directory and jumped on it yesterday. It was 1.1km long and had 95m of vert. but there was a nice view at the top. It was called the Piwakawaka Track, but all I could hear was tui's. David Haunschmidt is noted in the Wild Things as having completed it 11 times this year so I can only presume 1km trails are the secret sauce in Wellington
I have absolutely no comments. Hope to see you in Rotorua on Friday and not on Saturday at all

And Robyn Leah finished 3rd in the 50km this morning. Will be impressed if she can back that up at Tarawera on Saturday

Mate I think I might have written Haunschmidt more then the doctor himself at this stage - i might be running at around a 50% success rate 😂
